University of Detroit Mercy Detroit Mercy Dental, Special Functions Room 2700 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Detroit, MI 48208 Robert A. Burne from the University of Florida School of Dentistry has agreed to be the ASM-DL for our Spring Meeting at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry on March 28th, 2020.
We provide a friendly, inclusive environment for students to present their microbial research. To support that, we offer automatic membership with meeting registration and poster and talk presenters get free meeting registration. We also provide best undergraduate and graduate poster and talk awards. Check out our Conference Preparation area for details!

ASM Peggy Cotter Travel Award for Early Career Branch Members

Apply for the ASM Peggy Cotter Travel Award for Early Career Branch Members worth $1650 to attend ASM Microbe conference in Chicago, IL, June 18-22, 2020.

Applications deadline: Sunday, March 1st, 2020

The purpose of this award is to allow more individuals in our branch to attend and experience all that ASM Microbe has to offer and to share this experience with others.

Awardees must be members of MI-ASM and the national ASM. Previous recipients of this award are not eligible. For the purposes of this award, "early career" includes postdoctoral fellows, early career faculty, CLS-MLT-MLS Bench Techs, and/or early stage investigators. Awardees must be within a 10-year range beyond their terminal degree. Note: Students are NOT eligible for this award.
